The Top 40 of American Idol Season 12 was revealed last Thursday. Before the revelation, there were 28 boys and 24 girls left fighting for their Top 40 spot. First three eliminated persons revealed from the girls including ARIEL SPRAGUE from season 11 and LAUREN MINK also from last season. They cannot continue their journey for this season. Stephanie Schimel and Rachel Hale competed for the last spot for the Top 20 Girls and Rachel (The Most Happy Contestant Ever) was chosen for the spot. 
The Boys has to be the most difficult elimination I guess because eight people have to go and leave the competition. Unlike the girls elimination the sing-off was first done before calling the eight eliminated contestants. The sing-off is between Adam Sanders and Josh Holiday who had his pants splits during his performance. It is indeed a great performance of an "American Idol Song?" Geogia On My Mind. That performance leads Adam Sanders packing together with DAVID LEATHERS JR. who is visibly disappointed and shattered. The other contestants whose journey ends in Hollywood are DEVAN JONES from last year's Vegas Round, Will White, Marvin Calderon etc..
